Etnosfera Journal is an editorial project initiated by a young and enthusiastic team that aims to facilitate the dissemination of scientific results in social and related sciences (social and behavioral sciences, arts and humanities, agriculture, biology and environmental sciences, etc.).

The Scientific Board of Etnosfera comprises distinguished researchers and experts in social sciences from all over the world (Romania, USA, Germany, Republic of Moldova, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Serbia, Poland, Algeria).

Etnosfera seeks to meet young researchers and experienced specialists in the fields listed above.

Articles published so far have covered:

  • identity, culture and traditions;

  • religious, cultural, linguistic minorities etc.;

  • migration theories and case studies;

  • communication and interculturality;

  • modernity and contemporaneity;

  • demographic situation of religions;

  • promoting and respecting human rights;

  • Romanian and international geopolitical theories;

  • social infrastructure;

  • rural/urban sociology;

  • ethnography and folklore;

  • The Etnosfera journal appears twice a year. It has been available not only in electronic format but also in print since 2018, following the decision of the Romanian Academy’s Presidium Council to include it in the circuit of periodical publications that benefit from funding for editing, printing, and distribution from the Romanian Academy

  • Online issues are available free of charge, while printed issues can be purchased from the Romanian Academy’s bookstore.

  • The Etnosfera journal is freely accessible.

  • The Etnosfera journal does not charge any submission, processing, or publication fees.
